For the Love of Your Dogs

The title of this blog is quite interesting to me, but it makes sense, and you'll see why soon. Do you ever wonder what will come of your pets if something were to ever happen to you? For instance, if you get into a car accident and end up in the hospital, who will take care of your fur babies? Statistically speaking, well over 100,000 pets become orphans every year when their human dies. Most people don't have a plan for them, and they end up in shelters to eventually be put down because they can't find a home. Inevitably, for the love of your dog(s), create a plan of action. For instance, you can include them in your will or stay healthy and live as long as God allows. I'm always asked the same question as above because I'm accident-prone and am constantly tearing muscles. After my most recent injury - a muscle tear on the right side of my neck - I pondered what would happen to the dogs if I ended up in the hospital on an extended stay, or even worse, dead. In all honesty, I can't think of a clear answer and instead, have more questions than I'd prefer. Would my significant other keep them and take care of them? Would they end up going to family members? Or would they eventually get euthanized because no one would want them? Not a single one of these questions rings pleasant to me and because of this, I've made an oath to myself and the dogs that I will become healthy through eating, movement, and exercise to stay with them until the end. This is great and all, but another problem ensues: freak accidents, such as car wrecks, or even taking your last breath of air. So, what plans do you have in mind for you and your pet's future?
